Small tip: you can use shells and sticks and long branches to craft wands and staves which sell far more than their components.

I started keeping pieces of different armor with lucky charm and loremaster. Granted switching a lot gets annoying so.. just keep it all on one character and also send to: person with highest bartering (Lohse and Ofin both have thrifty). I put pet and persuasion on one, thievery on one, bartering on one, etc. Lol having Lohse identity it and Ofin hold n sell it works. Red Prince talks to animals and has highest persuasion. Undead should have thievery. I didn't use Fane but should've... Red prince has a GREAT one AP skill (dragon fire one), use a mask and change to lizard lol. Granted no helmet lowers defense..

This is great. It feels like opening games 4 times would be too much for a computer.... but mine did handle okay (bit laggy). A tip for older systems can be to just turn all graphics super low, as low as possible.... then once you have saved the game with 4 characters you need.... just close the 3 extra instances... and then turn up graphics back to wherever you wanted them.

You can use summons to pick enemies one by one in some encounters. I did this with a champion incarnate on the kniles the flenser fight and i basically wiped two silent monks and three flesh golems before fighting kniles with my main character in tactician.

Call me retarded, call me a newb. I've played Baldur's Gate 1-3, Icewind Dale, Pillars of Eternity 1-2, Both Pathfinders. I'm not a novice at crpgs. DOS2 is God damn impossible. I've restarted, and refigured so many times. Combat is impossible for me. I do NOT understand. It gets boring, and I quit. Everytime. I want to like this game so bad. I understand no hand holding...but give me a f***ing break. I don't want to spend 40 f***ing minutes trying to find a shovel.

You did your math on the wrong side of that equation. Disabling or killing enemies before they get to hit is infinitely times more useful than also getting a turn after you've been disabled or killed. Otherwise, I'm interested in trying it out.
